Observation details
Calling bird displaced by a second bird that flew in doing a high-pitched trilling vocalization. Initially the second bird landed about two feet from the first and continued doing a high-pitch trill. Then it flushed the first bird and assumed the same perch, where it continued doing the high-pitch trilling vocalization. It did not ever start doing the typical toot call. Based on what I can find in xeno-canto, this is apparently a juvenile begging call.
