Observation details
Continuing first cycle bird. Seen roosting in the gull flock on the ice of the marina. Massive gull, larger than nearby Glaucous, Herring, and Ring-billed Gulls. Massive black bill with slight flesh color at base, whitish head, faded streaks on chest, and checkered wing coverts. Photographed. *lifer.* ~25-27th Nebraska record.
