Observation details
Bird stayed very high in treetops as per yesterday morning, singing frequently and making sorties into the air to listen for responses. Calls very faint because bird is so high up. Only observed feeding at ground level once, very briefly, at 10:00 am, then it was back in the treetops, singing. Mostly moved up and down the trees along the concrete section of path leading from bridge to South Bank Trail but did occasionally cross over into paddock trees just south of South Bank Trail. In the early morning, often liked to hang out atop pine tree located just before fence of South Bank Trail (where the trashcan is). Feeding area was base of the willow grove just west of the concrete path section (roughly across from the tree overgrown with ivy but a bit north of it).
