Observation details
A really interesting and unusual-looking immature Accipiter. Not exceptionally large or bulky-looking, but had very broad wings in flight, with a relatively short tail. Dense streaking on the underparts and under wing coverts, with a distinct supercilium. Impartial observers sent BOC shots acknowledged the bird looked weird, but weren’t convinced it wasn’t a Cooper’s. Photos to be added in due time.
