Observation details
We heard this bird first, it sang for a few minutes on and off. It was in very thick, shady shrub area in riparian edge. I walked into this thick vegetation via a small path towards water edge. It was singing in dense vegetation. Todd Kiraly kayaked over indicating he had heard the bird too. After a bit the bird did move through the vegetation and perched long enough to show its yellow underside and undertail, grey head, black bib. This three second view was all I got. Was unable to photograph. The song was churry-Churry-Churry-Churry-turtle (1 faint churry 3 louder churries 1 turtle). It seems a slightly faster version than the Macauley library Song record from Peter Paul Kellogg 9 Jun 1952 Mt. Greylock, MA. Fairly similar to the second song on All About Birds by Geoffrey A. Keller in Michigan June 04, 1992.
