Observation details
A peep noted amongst SESA, WESA, and LESA that was reminiscent of a least coloration wise. Long legs though and quite upright posture made the bird really stand out. Pectoral and Baird’s both went through my mind and it was an interesting experience that my brain had trying to figure out what the bird was. Having never seen a LTST, I didn’t exactly know what to expect. Bird was observed from main road for 20 minutes before the bird was chased off by a displaying LESA and flew north up the marsh. Couldn’t re-find in the next 2 hours. Photos show posture, coloration, long legs, bold patterning on scaps, and split supercilium.
