Observation details
Female bird. Larger than the pectorals and dunlins it was with. The bill appeared all black (I did not notice any orange) thin and moderately long with a droop. Overall the bird was buffy-gray and black, but appearing nearly white on the belly and undertail coverts. The breast was darker, but not boldly patterned, appearing more drab gray than blotchy. The feathers on the back were black with pale fringes. The tertials were noticably long and barred. The legs were long and greenish yellow. The bird was observed through binoculars and scope from a distance of about 60ft for about 3 minutes. Photos will be attached later.
