Observation details
Photos. When first seen, thought was Great Shearwater, due to dark cap. Upon review of photos, very interesting bird - narrow wings (unlike broader wings of Cory's), small head with definite dark faec/cap, thin grayish bill with sub terminal band (not yellow as in Cory's), visible M pattern on dorsal side, underside of wings with dark primaries (not Scopoli's). Flying low over water heading S along beach just beyond breakers.
