Observation details

Lifer! Got bunch of recordings which sound like "free beer", confirmed ID with Mary. Looks wise (not enough for ID) white wing bars, thin eye ring, contrasting white throat. Atleast 2, one was distant.. dramatic 30 minutes trying to get looks/photo. Waited 20min for the bird to show up but it stayed invisible deep inside thicket singing continuously. Later moved to a exposed perch for exactly 30 seconds, singing. Tried to get a shot, but bird was partially occluded by plants and thought I failed in first few attempts. Finally got it in view finder and it took off, never to be seen / heard again for next 10 minutes after which I decided to go home. On reviewing footage from first few attempts, exactly one photo has the backlit bird!! On reviewing pants, 6 ticks found :p
