Observation details

Life bird! What an experience! Beautiful shorebirds with thin bill, about the size of a Killdeer. Female has reddish neck with wide, dark stripes extending from eyes all the way down the neck. Ruddy and bluish-gray back. Males more drab. While 3 males and a female were milling about on the ground there was a flyover of two more.
