Behavior and other notes: Adult male Wood Thrush singing from a perch over the road and then from a perch in the woods near the road. At the end of the first cut, the Wood Thrush gave very quiet vocalizations while in flight. The second cut is a nice long continuous cut of this male singing. Recording Time: 0553 (UTC -4). Temperature 14°C. Habitat: mixed deciduous woods. Distance to sound source: 13 meters. Specific location: Sleepy Creek WMA, just west of the ranger station, Berkeley Co., WV.
