Observation details
Very vibrant and vocal male. Found at the edge of a clearing less than a 1/4 mile from the South Road trail head. Present during entire visit and seen by others. Moving constantly, mostly at eye level, working the edges of the clearing. Overall yellow warbler with contiguous black hood wrapping around head and throat. Olive-brown back with brighter yellow undersides. Singing a short, swirly song.
