Observation details
Similar in size to the lesser yellowlegs with which they were feeding. Plumage on back was more scaly patterned and darker than yellowlegs. Longer bill than yellowlegs that drooped toward the tip. Feeding with a 'stitching' motion like dowitchers. Will post photos.
