NOTES: CALLS OF A COLONY OF LARUS PIPIXCAN WHILE WE WERE STANDING AMIDST THEIR NESTS IN THE MARSH. MOST YOUNG HAD FLEDGED AND WERE EVIDENTLY HIDING IN THE SEDGES. A COLONY OF WHITE-FACED IBIS WAS ALSO NESTING IN THE SAME AREA INTERPERSED THROUGHOUT THE GULL COLONY. THE SHRILL SCREAMS ARE LARUS PIPIXCAN DIVING AT US. Social Context: Colony.
