Observation details
Seen in the same spot (exactly) where I have seen it in 2020 and 2018 (both in June). It has been seen and heard in this hotspot several times in past (including April and May). Location today was in tall willows at edge of bronco creek which is running and I believe the water will last thru summer. Nearby yellow warblers, BLGR, and SUTAs. I first heard it call and later sing. When it sang it sang 2 - 3 times, then moved to a new location not far away. Twice when it changed locations I saw the deep blue (entire body and belly, no wing bars). I worked hard chasing it to get a photo. Did not want to use callback. Alas no photo. In recording it sings 4x, mixed with BLGR calls. It sings at :00, :12, :21, ;31. Familiar with species in Pennsylvania where my parents lived for many years.
