Observation details
Awesome!! Driving down the road and I saw 2 woodpeckers flying, then as I’m saying “Woodpeckers! Those might be the Lewis’s!” I noticed that 1 more was flycatching from the top of a tree, then I remembered that LEWO are the only Woodpeckers that regularly flycatch. So we pulled over and sure enough there’s 4 flying, landing, pecking, and flycatching on, and through the trees. Been wanting to see these birds for years! Life bird!
