Observation details
Continuing. Flew over road at 10:20am from somewhere west of the pond into same area as previously reported, just west of private residence. Started foraging in driveway, slowly working its way west into more dense shrubbery on west side of ditch, where I lost sight of it after about 15 minutes of watching it. Tiny dove with short tail, pinkish buff below with scaled neck and gray nape and crown. Bicolored bill orangish red at base with a black tip. Black spots on folded wings along with a beautiful pinkish wash. Brilliant rufous primaries obvious in flight. Photos to come
