Observation details
Continuing. Exact count of all the birds I was able to see. One flock of 19 birds flew over together heading west across the road and landed in the cornfield, followed by mostly singles and doubles and a small flock of 9. Only counted birds heading west to avoid double counting, and this was the highest amount I detected at any one time. Vocalized extensively with song, rattle call, and a higher-pitched slightly nasal “cheer” type call while flying. Will post photos and audio.
