Observation details
First observation at 0945. *First sighting ever here, and a very exciting one! Heard alarm vocalizations from KILL in reach 3 and then saw the Willet flying overhead going upstream, flashing its black and white wings, flying at ca 3-4x shrub height. It make the 'pil-will-willet' vocalization once and then made a few calls which I was able to record as it passed over the constructed wetland and then changed course to the SW. I watched it disappear in the distance in this direction. Detections (number 15-minute intervals in which the species was detected): 1 flyover(s).
