Observation details
*Rare in interior Chiapas. Small Calidris with dark legs, short straight bill, brownish upperparts, white underparts with light streaking on breast sides. It looked a bit lethargic, though it was seen feeding close to a Spotted Sandpiper. It seemed to be keeping its head tilted to the left some of the time. After looking at photos I realized that its left eye appears to be injured as it seems to be mostly closed on all images where it's visible
