Woodpecker-sp. drumming, that was recorded from unseen woodpecker.
Observation details
A loud steady drumming noted on the other side of a cedar tree from where I was standing. Bird was not seen. The interval between drums shortens at the end. There was a female HAWO noted meters away on an old stump. Hours later, CHECKLIST S86023651, there was a male and female HAWO on the same old stump that was observed on this checklist. A YBSA and NOFL noted in the area at the time of the recording. As the bird was not seen, I elected to submit the recording of the drumming under Woodpecker sp. This may be a HAWO.
