Media notes
LOWA was in the same ravine as the HOWA on this recording, but I noticed once the LOWA starting singing, the HOWA stopped. Small branch flowing into the lake. The LOWA would fly down to the stream bed near where it meets the lake, sing a bit, and then fly up into a branch about 8 meters up. It would sing there for a bit and then move to another branch upstream. It would go from branch to branch upstream and then fly back down and repeat the process. I watched him do this three times.
