Observation details

Rusty-brown body with blackish head that had lighter colored splotches, Same size as Blue-winged Teals nearby. Watched for 15 minutes when it flushed and did not come back. Found on the pond in Willow Wetland. Looked very similar to one in Sibley's Guide first edition on page 87. Photos to follow
