Observation details
I heard an uncommon song coming from my backyard. Upon further investigation I noticed a handsome male spotted towhee hopping around in the garden, kicking up the leaf litter and occasionally taking breaks to sing from the top of our hawthorn tree. When he flew off to the neighbors yard I noticed the white corners on the tail feathers.
