Observation details
Quite dull plumaged, female-type bird. Flew from across the street and into the small palm here: 32.849700, -117.270762, up closer to Goldfish Point. Spent a few minutes in the palm before dropping further down the bluff and out of view. Head and face seemed too drab for female-type Bullock's. Noticeable contrast between bright malar and chest when compared to the dull auriculars and nape consistent with Baltimore. Scapulars appeared brownish with only slightly darker centers. Thanks to Paul Lehman, et. al for their input on the ID. Only two very poor photos obtained in bad early morning light.
