Observation details
Relatively long-tailed bird with pale grey upperparts, blackish wings and tail and whitish underparts. The bird had a thick, black mask from its lores to behind its eyes and a heavy, dark relatively short bill. The bird was repeatedly vocalizing from the top of a tree moving perches frequently as it did so and flaring its tail, showing white outer tail feathers. Seen well from within 50 m as the bird perched and moved around in the open at the top of a dead tree. Watched for close to five minutes as the bird moved between trees. Recordings of the bird vocalizing attached.
