Media notes
210125_45. Yellow-throated Laughingthrush. Bg.endRuf-neckedLT. High-pitched calls are alarm on seeing the goats - but continued feeding and vocalising once the goats passed. Actual cut is 12 minutes long. First 3 minutes, the birds were very quietly feeding, then the goats arrive. Then the birds moved on, quickly trailed by Rufous-necked Laughers (their arrival introductory voc between 2:58 and 3:05, then interspersed with Yellow-throated Laughers till the end of the cut). The remaining cut is split (after the Yellow-throated move on, and only Ruf-necked remained feeding in the bushes) and uploaded in Rufous-necked Laugher. Child-like sounds at the start is from a bushy tailed squirrel species (need to ID) and distant music in the background is a devotional Manipuri chanting/song.
