NOTES: (Breeding status: Territorial paired. Gen. Climate: Humid. Cover Density: Medium, thick.) Song/call given just after male song. Originally identified by the recordist as Myrmeciza hemimelaena. Subspecies information (M. h. hemimelaena) provided by Isler et al. as part of their study on species limits in the M. hemimelaena complex (see Isler et al. 2002).
