Observation details
This round redpoll seems larger than the Common Redpolls around it. It's active and eats heartily, especially with the others. Sometimes it comes alone and seems calmer. Its beak appears tiny in relation to its body. It's frosty, with white undertail feathers, a white back, and whiter overall. I've reported the Hoary Redpoll earlier this year, and believe there may be more than one, but cannot yet prove it.
