Observation details
I had initially ID this one as an eastern wood-pewee but the call was not right. I think it may be a yellow-bellied based upon the call and the behavior. This flycatcher been calling from the the thick shrubs/woods behind my house this past week (I did not hear him today 3/21/2021). I attached a sound file that was recorded with the photos. Extremely shy... I been trying to get a sight of him this past week but he has been hiding Low in the bushes. He finally came out and took a morning bath on my wet plants ...the photos I posted. He has yellow underneath, distinct eye ring. Some streaking.
