Observation details

Presumably same flock as yesterday, seemed like fewer birds but maybe didn’t see them all. First heard when stepped out to fill feeders. Flock in small group of firs and Norway spruces. At least 2 red males, one red and green bird, and 4 all green-yellow. Didn’t get good color on other birds. Calling was intermittent, increasing to constant before birds took flight. Flock circled once, calling, and departed to north just before grackle flock moved in, about 7:25. Have brief audio as they flew away
