Observation details
Each set of whistled notes is definitely too short to be a Slate-colored Solitaire, but it's too ethereal and inconsistent to be a Black-headed Nightingale Thrush (which usually whistles the same series of notes over and over). The only other bird with a similar song is a Spotted Nightingale Thrush, which I think is even more unlikely. (At least Ruddy-capped has been reported at this location once before.)
