Observation details
Notified by fellow birder Steve Patterson to sighting of Townsends Warbler. Seen high in Cedar trees, mixed in with RCKI and YRWA. Approximately 10 yards past the Kerrigan trailhead off the Carriage path. Small warbler with two heavy white wing bars, black cap and black cheek contrasting with otherwise yellow head. Yellow crescent under eye. Throat was not full black like an adult male, but showed black spot. Yellow breast. Heavy black streaks on flanks. White vent and belly. See photos.
