Observation details
Started peenting at 6:17. About 10 minutes later I heard feathers fluttering. Then it was over. The bird never came out of the woods, but it was not more than 25’ from where I was ultimately positioned. The wooded area is obscured by an invasive honeysuckle, but the interior of the wooded area is quite open. The swamp is not far away, so the ground is moist and boggy. Our tiny house within our barn is less than 1/10 mile from where this bird is peenting. .
