Observation details
Continuing— on the pond with some Canadas when I arrived. The flock flushed out into the fields behind the barn. I couldn't see the bird from that vantage point any longer so I moved down the street to the gated entrance to the wildlife refuge. No luck in seeing the bird from there, but many groups of Canadas were moving past and landing in the open field to the west. I checked each flock carefully for the BAGO but didn't see it. Later I drove over to Cards Pond Road where I found another group of feeding Canadas near the theater, but no luck there either. Very lucky to have arrived at the moment I did. First time seeing this species since 2014.
