Observation details
Continuing male at beach on south side. Like an undersized Mallard with orange bill, a bit of a shaggy crest at back of head, dark on rear sides. Paired with a female Mallard. Called once, sounded like typical male Mallard quack. Included lots of photos to show various plumage details of this unusual hybrid combination.
