Observation details
The adult (or one of the adults?) discovered by Frank Schena (and identified by others) on 26 June. It was remarkably tame, ignoring ~30 birders and even flying between several of them and approaching most of us very closely. It is clearly the Bahamian subspecies _plumbeus_ based on plumage. We did not hear any vocalizations nor see it gathering or carrying nestling material. It seemed very successful at foraging in the mulch and leaf litter. An absolutely gorgeous, spectacular, and EPIC bird!
