Media notes
Lone Canada Goose on frozen lake surface
Observation details
Large bird flying in formation of 7-9 individuals. Characteristic black head and neck with white chin and brown-black wings with wavy white stripes. Most observed geese were flying low in a "V" formation while honking, with one lead goose in front and symmetrical number of geese on either side. Flight direction always seems to be about south, towads the lake. One single geese was observed on the frozen bay surface. It was sitting on the surface, not moving a lot, and it was unclear as to whether it was injured or just resting.
