Observation details
**very rare from shore, but normally wrecks are associated with strong coastal storms - many have been seen along the coast this winter so it was not unexpected that last night’s storm and strong SE breeze brought many into the south shore; single floating then flying around the inlet when it was flushed by some pursuing GBBGs. It was almost instantaneously plucked from the air by the PEFA. Two later picked up by PJL as they flew down the inlet and under the bridge. This pair landed close under the bridge and was observed for a while as they made circuits of the inlet before taking off to the SE, passing over the barrier and traffic circle just east of the basin!!
