Observation details
An adult Male (indicating so after requesting ID assistance from Birders participating via www.whatbird.com.) Curious if hybrid vs Mottled. The Birders mentioned that this duck was determined to be Mottled, and an adult male; sighting not much white in tail, bill color, tail feathers not curled, and because of the black at the base of the bill. This duck was seen staying in a similar location, not moving too far and was foraging very nearby an immature Little Blue Heron in a canal that runs along the SW side of the southern section, this canal runs perpendicular to Palmer Road, adjacent to commercial buildings there.
