This is the long-present individual that roams the west edge of Greenlee Preserve and the neighborhoods immediately adjoining.
Observation details
The total count was at least three, and probably four. Bird #1 is the continuing bird at the west edge of Greenlee Preserve. Bird #2 is one photographed at the Waneka Lake playground. Bird #3, also photographed, was not heard and had an aberrant tail, so I am not positive; but I believe it was an African Collared-Dove (see discussion under photo). Finally, I note that Tom Behnfield and his party found a fourth Streptopelia today; photo and audio clearly indicate African Collared-Dove. Theirs was along the trail connector southwest of Waneka Lake.
