Observation details
Continuing. Not seen for the first 40 minutes or so as I drove the area looking at the fence lines, with no sign of any bluebird sp. Wind may have contributed to this. As I was about to leave I did one final pass and found the bird approximately 50 yards north of corner proper, on the east side of the road. The bird worked its way south and was seen catching two separate Jerusalem Crickets along the way. Perhaps an adult female. Differentiated from similar WEBL by longer thinner bill, gray/brown cast to breast, light colored chin, more uniformly colored head to nape, noticeable light edging to coverts, and longer wings. Much desired MRN County bird.
