NOTES: Background: CALIDRIS PUSILLA (CONTINUOUS SPARROW-LIKE 'CHEW'); ROCKY BEACH. FEEDING AND CHASING CALLS. LOUDEST SHARPEST REPEATED 'PEEPS'. PEEP-PEEP-PEEP ETC. OR WHEES-WHEES-WHEES ETC. Sex: 12 UNKNOWN [Primarily conversational "twittering" but also some "Wick" calls by what appears to be a large number of individuals of this species amid a mixed-species, foraging flock of shorebirds. Quality changed from 2,3 to 2-3 (maybe 2 in places) - CAM - 2 December 2004]. Habitat: Rocky.
