Observation details
Continuing daily at and near feeders at this location and at a nearby neighbors feeders.. I note that it seems to have its beak open in just about every photo. Its upper mandible appears heavier than lower and is noticeably decurved. The lower mandible appears thinner and is decurved too. This bird hung around for many days before "learning" to go to the wire mesh inclosed platform feeder where there are mealworms. Today was the first time the bird was seen drinking at birdbath.
