Observation details
Initially scoped distantly amongst Sharp-tailed Sandpipers where clean, neat pectoral gorget noted, with notable dip/point in the middle. After it flew by itself roughly towards the observers and landed, it was photographed at close range later roosting in close company with a Red-capped Plover. Bill unusually dark in the basal half.
