Media notes
Sounds of a flock feeding on land. Someone had placed cracked corn on the ground, which attracted this flock. They continued foraging after consuming most of the corn, and I was able to record them from within ten feet or so, occasionally closer. At one point, they did get startled and took off (3:19) but soon returned. After flying off a second time (6:16), most of them retreated to the nearby pond, where they can be heard briefly at the end. Normalized to -3 dB except for voice announcement at -10 dB. 24-bit/48 kHz WAV file edited with Ocenaudio. Unfiltered.
Observation details
Resident flock. Sounds of feeding group recorded.
