NOTES: (Gen. Climate: humid. Gen. Habitat: Mauritia palm. Cover Density: Open.) [These vocalizations do not really match anything described in BNA account due to their repetitive nature and the relatively long duration of the notes. The note structure seems closest to that of a "Wail" call, but account indicated that this call was given in short rather than extended series. I am unsure whether this reflects geographic variation in the species' vocalizations or instead this represents a call not described in the account. The call does sound to me much like the "Wail" calls described for Falco peregrinus, so it may not be unexpected for such long series in this species [??] Quality unchanged (2-3 - at best) - CAM - 23 February 2005]. Habitat: Montane Grassland, Savannah.
