Observation details
In stream at 30.1434325, -90.8134030, appears to be first for parish in winter. Medium/small bobbing sandpiper with bold white spectacles, gray above with white speckles and whitish below; mostly dark underwings, black and white banded tail with dark central rectrices. Gave a few ‘pik’ calls in flight. Photos.
