Observation details

Sitting on wire. Juvenile bird with whitish belly and pale yellow flanks. When we first saw this bird as driving by we thought it might be a WEKI. Once we stopped for a better look we could see that though the profile was similar the tail was longer than a WEKI and shorter than an adult STFL. We drove back to the opposite of the bird to see it in better light and could clearly see the white head and breast that make this bird stand out from other tyrant flycatchers. The following pictures do not show the colors well, but do show the tail length of a juv. STFL. This bird was observed on Crutcher Lake Road.
