Observation details
Very small rail flushed out of some knee high grass at the Nelsons sparrow spot at East Kalmar, extremely Bold white wings on this bird seen in flight. Buffy overall and proportionally smaller than a Sora which would only have a small white edge of the wings seen in flight. Saw a Sora here before seeing this bird and they looked absolutely nothing alike, couldn’t get a photo because the bird flew a short distance and retreated into the grass and weeds.
